About Us
The Parliamentary Initiatives Network (PIN) is a forum for non-state
actors with a programmatic interest in Parliament. It brings together
a number of Civil Society Organisations including professional associations,
think tanks and research institutions that focus on affecting Parliamentary
business from a technical perspective. PIN is made up of the following
organizations:

On 14th February 2008,
PIN held a consultative meeting with the new leadership of Parliament.
The newly elected Speaker of Kenya National Assembly the Deputy Speaker
and the senior leadership agreed to a consultative briefing meeting
of the Parliamentary Initiatives Network (PIN) attended this meeting
whose purpose was dual: to brief and introduce the senior leadership
of Parliament to PIN and its outlook of coordinated support to Parliament;
and, getting the leadership interact and familiarize itself with which
each of the member organizations mandate especially vis-à-vis the
focus on Parliament.
