Transparency International-Kenya

TI (Kenya) is a non-profit organisation founded in 1999 with the aim of a transparent and corruption-free Kenya for good governance and social justice initiatives in Kenya. TI-Kenya is an autonomous Chapter in the Transparency International movement, a global coalition against corruption, with which we share knowledge and exchange ideas for the greater good of Kenya. Transparency International Kenya is dedicated to gender equality and ensuring equitable and sustainable human development. As well, the value of democratic principles and basic human rights demand gender equality and advocate for equal representation and participation of both genders.

To support citizens and governance institutions effect transparency and accountability in public and business affairs through legal and policy frameworks, skills, knowledge and information.

Featured Project

On 14th February 2008, PIN held a consultative meeting with the new leadership of Parliament. The newly elected Speaker of Kenya National Assembly the Deputy Speaker and the senior leadership agreed to a consultative briefing meeting of the Parliamentary Initiatives Network (PIN) attended this meeting whose purpose was dual: to brief and introduce the senior leadership of Parliament to PIN and its outlook of coordinated support to Parliament; and, getting the leadership interact and familiarize itself with which each of the member organizations mandate especially vis-à-vis the focus on Parliament.
